Setup
Five minutes. Once.
Four of those five minutes are you choosing a name. The rest is one short conversation with Telegram's own BotFather, because creating a bot is the single thing Telegram will not let any service do on your behalf. That is a good thing: it means the token is yours.
Create your account here
An email address and a password. That is the whole form.
Get a token from BotFather
Open Telegram and message @BotFather. Send /newbot, give it any name, then a username ending in bot. It replies with a long token. Copy the whole line.
8123456789:AAHf1kZxQq0m-Example-Token-Do-Not-UseDo not paste that token anywhere else. It is a full credential for your bot, and we store it encrypted.
Paste it into your dashboard
We check it with Telegram straight away, so a mistyped token fails here on a form rather than silently three steps later.
Dress it up, from here
Name, profile picture, the bio under the name, the description on an empty chat, the slash command menu. All of it from your dashboard. You never go back to BotFather for any of it.
Say hello
Press go live and open your bot. It already knows the working style you picked, and it starts learning yours from the first message.
Things people ask
No. You need a Telegram account.
Yes, any time, from the dashboard.
Only you. It ignores everybody else, in silence.
Encrypted before it is stored, and never sent back to a browser.
It is a Telegram bot. It works wherever Telegram does.
After that
What the first week looks like.
Day one
You talk to it the way you would text a colleague. It decides what is a task, what is a deadline, what is worth remembering, and what is just conversation.
Day three
It starts coming back on its own. Before a deadline. When somebody has gone quiet. When something you called urgent has not moved.
Day seven
It knows your quiet hours, your summary times, and how much nudging you actually want. If it is being too much, tell it so in those words.
